【Google】Data Center Strategic Negotiator, Portfolio Manager

仕事内容

About this job
At Google, we need infrastructure that goes far beyond server computers. Our products and services are delivered on a global scale, so the Strategic Negotiations team works behind the scenes to secure the infrastructure that will power Google's future, from undersea cables to data center sites. As a Strategic Negotiator, you will use your deep knowledge of specific vertical markets and the technology industry to orchestrate cost-effective solutions to help grow Google's infrastructure. Working with specific project teams, you will negotiate deals, manage vendor and partner relationships, and provide deal recommendations to technical infrastructure executives. You will drive significant cost savings to Google's operations through successful negotiations that impact every aspect of the business.

As a member of Google's Energy and Location Strategy team, you will help drive location strategy, site selection and portfolio management for new and existing data center facilities and related infrastructure. You will support Google's goal of becoming a carbon neutral company by helping define Google's global energy portfolio strategy, including helping to define and build industry-leading renewable energy projects.

Every Google product our users use online is backed by an architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team. From developing and maintaining our data centers to building the next generation of Google's platform, the Technical Infrastructure team plays an essential role in enabling Google's product portfolio. This team sees itself as the Google engineers' team, and their relentless ethos means they're willing to take apart and rebuild equipment at the risk of voiding warranties. Their mission is to keep Google's network running and up and running, providing the best, fastest experience for Google users.
