Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apple's consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day, hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products! We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple, engaging and inspiring marketing experiences. Marcom, Japan is looking for a Copywriter to join our marketing and communications team. You will work on creating headlines and copy across all mediums for products, product launches and campaigns. In addition to localization work, the role will involve the creation of Japan unique campaigns & materials; seasonal web, retail & channel campaigns, and the production of high quality video content. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all Apple marketing copy has the right tone of voice, nuance and style and be consistent across all media.
Description
- Write, review, and empower campaigns for the Apple brand and products - Develop deep understand local culture and customer insights in integrate Japan - Work across subject areas to strategies and messaging for online, retail, channel, events, advertising, social media, and new mediums of communication - Helps brief translators and editors and gives them regular feedback - Collaborate with a creative partners like Art Director to concept ideas for Geo Origination - Present and share the work to senior creative staff and other XF team - Reports to Creative Director ( Copy) in Japan - Be ready to do the best work of your life

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 2-3 years relevant writing experience in a creative agency, production company, and/or in-house corporate writing environment.
Business level proficiency in English and Japanese.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong writing skills across a broad variety of media.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently within short time frames.
Flexibility to occasionally travel internationally, sometimes for a few weeks at a time.
Excellent Team worker. Collaboration is essential, as this role works in close partnership with others, particularly Creative Team in Japan as well as Team in other Geo and Cupertino.
Maintains a professional demeanor under pressure and in situations of ambiguity.
Passionate about writing that is thoughtful, meaningful, provocative at times, clear and inspiring.
Understanding of importance of attention to details and consistency.
