Key Accountabilities
Take a lead role in all reports delivery initiatives and provide a strong focus around process improvement to enhance operational efficiency
Engage in communicating with stakeholders and proactive relationship management with internal and/or external parties
Influence and drive changes incorporating global alignment while considering Japan local regulatory and client requirements
Nurture the team with professional expertise especially in the area of products, reporting regulations, operational processes, global alignment and vendor management and provide proper performance management of the team with timely feedback
Newly setup and update report format, as well as report creation tools in order to extract data and calculate performance returns, and so forth with discussion of related sections
Provide oversight for all related services delivered by our outsourced vendors in Japan
Conduct research and analysis on regulatory change that may impact to the report format and update the report format as necessary
Conduct root cause analysis and deep dives to improve client experience and remove operational issues and challenges
応募資格(必須経験など)
Experience, Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
University Bachelor or above
Strong people management and leadership experience (This position will be managing 4 to 5 people)
5+ years professional experience in client reporting of financial services especially investment management experience preferred
Advanced application skills such as Excel and Excel VBA, Access
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communications and organizational skills with key internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated professional with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities and schedules to meet deadline while maintaining attention to detail for data integrity and error correction
Demonstrate ability to evolve reporting processes, recommend and implement changes and deliver continuous improvement
Familiarity with the asset management industry and relevant regulations / association rules
Native Japanese and English language skills preferred
System knowledge (T-star GX, Bloomberg, Factset and other vendor systems)
