KKR seeks to recruit a highly motivated professional looking for a buy-side role in Real Estate, and strong communications and relationship management skills to serve as an Investment Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and executing investment opportunities across the deal cycle, from acquisition to asset management.
Daily responsibilities including the following:
Deal Origination / Acquisition:
Conduct market research to support formulate new investment opportunities ideas for internal thematic discussion
Lead and manage due diligence process and deal structuring with operating partners and external experts
Prepare investment memos
Build financial models
Present investments at the investment committees (internal and external)
Review and negotiate terms with sellers and lenders
Asset Management:
Communicate and manage the asset management initiatives to achieve the business plan
Formulate disposition ideas and engage with external brokers and buyers to monetize investment positions
応募資格(必須経験など)
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in commercial real estate, equity investment or corporate M&A finance
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with a focus on creating investment memos and financial models
Basic understanding of market opportunities across different real estate sectors
Basic understanding of real estate valuation and company’s financial statements is preferred but not a hard requirement
Fluent in both English and Japanese with strong communication skills in both languages

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to manage client relationships as a key point of contact for investment or portfolio updates
Entrepreneurial skills to lead negotiations, structuring, diligence, and closing of major real estate investments
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail to review investment opportunities, complex legal documents and monitor local market dynamics
Proactive and strategic thinker to create meaningful improvements to the KKR Real Estate platform with the ability to handle multiple workloads in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Team player with a positive attitude and enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment with the desire to learn
