Principal Accountabilities
Responsible for the profitability and governance of the assigned products and services.
Responsible for and assist senior Product Manager(s) for developing and managing the products assigned to ensure that the products meet the market needs and contribute towards the overall GPS objectives
Ensuring that all products comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures.
Improve HSBC’s profile, marketshare and ‘share or mind’ in the marketplace vis-à-vis the competition
In consultation with the product team in ASP GPS, develop plans to close local product gaps anwhere possible to enhance our competitiveness.
Contribute to the development, formulation and growth of the GPS business in the region.
The job holder is responsible for GPS Product Management activities and expected to assist senior Product Manager(s) to meet the needs of the Corporate and FIGsectors that are run out of TKY. He/she must be alert to opportunities and capable of independent, creative and analytical thought to seize opportunities for new business.
The job holder is responsible for the planning and execution of Product Management strategies for assigned products and assist senior Product Manager(s), while closely working with RM, ASP GPS Product Managers and other local GPS teamsto ensure a coordinated approach.
Job Holder is accountable for shared objective of GPS Japan on Interest and Fee Income as well as Deposit balance by working with Product Head and manage investment plan and product profitability in view of product commercialization and transaction volume growth while ensuring the effective management of product delivery cost.

Qualifications
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of cash management experience preferably in the area of product management.
Possesses project management skills.
Demostrated ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions.
Business level Japanese capability is a must to work on local regulatory and clearing system requirements.
