Responsibilities

Core accountabilities include:
Generate "AVS (Azure VMware Solution) consumption revenue" in assigned territory.
Drive big migration wins in high-potential customers by leveraging Migration to Azure, Azure Arc, Azure SQL, etc.
50% of your time will be spent leading business level dialogue with customers around the VMware workloads, including Business transformation for enterprise computing and digital transformation. You will engage Microsoft account team and solution sales teams on assessing VMware solution strategy with a broad set of customers in Asia, and present to customers in one-many venues on the Microsoft Solution Strategy for VMware.
30% of your time will be spent on acting as a senior sales/solution SME (Subject Matter Expert) to sales teams, cloud architects and solution specialists and develop engagement approaches leveraging assets across entire Azure products and Azure engineering organization. You will brief Microsoft Executives around complex sales opportunities, including competitive strategies and deal closing plans and work with external partners to engage customers with joint value positioning.
20% of your time will be spent on influencing the Microsoft AVS (Azure VMware Solution) go-to-market strategies by providing feedback to sales, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers. You will also need to have strong communications skills and be happy leading customer webinars, presenting at corporate events and being the formal spokesperson for the offering in region. You will be recognized for sharing, learning, and driving work that results in business impact for customers, partners, and Microsoft. Professional

Experience: 10+ years enterprise technology sales/pre-sales or consulting experience with good a knowledge on VMware solutions, specifically around VMware private cloud [vSphere, NSX, HCX and vSAN and Horizon] and public cloud computing infrastructure (Mandatory)
Strong knowledge in public cloud market in Asia (Mandatory)
Strong understanding of Cloud consumption Economics (Mandatory)
Expertise in enterprise solution selling techniques and selling cloud-based solutions.
Growth Mindset: Ability to overcome and work around problems that are inevitable in rapidly growing businesses – positive approach to problem solving, learning, and development of potential.
Account Management: 10+ years effective territory/account management and leading sales teams: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder, and executive communication, needs analysis, value engineering, services/partner engagement, opportunity management and proposal response, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation required.
Executive Presence: 10+ years’ experience and expertise selling to C-Suite and executive business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of AVS product to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
Problem Solver: Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies.
Leadership: Experience leading large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure modernization and migration.
Collaborative: Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams.
Communication: Executive level speaking and presentation skills, and good written communication skills.
Partners: Deep Partner engagement and Management skills.
Exceptional demonstrated decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills.
Technical

Cloud computing infrastructure basic: Server, Storage, Virtualization, NW, Security area (Mandatory)
VMware: VMware vSphere, NSX, HCX and vSAN and Horizon (Mandatory) + vRealize and Tanzu (preferred)
Azure: Understanding of Azure Platform or what is equivalent (Azure Admin Associate or Architect certification).
VMware: VMware VCA-DBT certification or VCP-DCV / VCP-NV certification.
