• Are insightful, inquisitive, collaborative.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have experience leading strategic projects with major utility clients, managing all phases from problem identification through analysis to recommendation development and implementation.
• Can work directly with senior client executives to present findings and strategies, ensure alignment with client objectives, and facilitating decision-making and strategy development.
• Have proven experience conducting detailed market, industry, and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the utility sector.
• Can develop business strategies that help clients enhance operational efficiencies, comply with regulatory requirements, and leverage technological innovations.
• Have experience advising utility clients in one or more of the following areas:
o Asset and risk management
o Portfolio analysis and investment decision making
o Large capital program / project execution, from planning to execution to close out
o Evaluation, development, and/or deployment of digital solutions
o Performance improvement program design, execution support, and/or oversight
• Can perform detailed financial analysis and develop regulatory strategy, including business case development, strategic roadmap creation, and support for regulatory testimony
• Are located near or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York, San Francisco, Toronto, or Washington, DC.
• Are fluent in English.
• Have an MBA degree (preferred) with 5+ years of professional experience.
• Have experience working as a Management Consultant.
• Have experience managing proposal writing efforts; participating in pitches for consulting work; developing new business within existing accounts through client relationships.
• Are passionate about leading teams and mentoring colleagues.
