In this role as Head of the Corporate Security & Investigations (CSI) team in Japan, you will report directly to the Global Head of CSI in New York. You will manage the regional CSI team in Japan which is responsible for the physical protection of employees and facilities; terrorist risk assessment and mitigation; crisis management and preparedness; investigation of internal or external fraud; theft or loss prevention; executive protection; development of global security strategies; implementation plans, policies, and procedures; compliance with internal and external audit; due diligence; access control/technology; employee background screening; and coordination with Legal and Compliance, Business Continuity, Information Security, and Risk Management functions critical to Firmwide operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate these core competencies:

To be successful in this role, you will have these technical skills, degree(s) or knowledge:
- You will have a four-year college degree
- 10 years of Law enforcement and/or Corporate Security experience with demonstrated skills in investigations of fraud and a variety of security incidents
asset identification, valuation, threat assessment, and security risk mitigation programs identifying sources of threat intelligence and ability to assess and formulate appropriate mitigation responses
- You have experience working with law enforcement agencies
- You can develop, communicate, and implement Firm wide security policies, e.g. asset classification, management of specific high-profile security risks, contingency planning for major emergency incidents, etc.
- Native or near native English and business level Japanese ability
- Experience leading a diverse team providing a wide array of Corporate Security related services
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
