【Apple】ISE, Input Experience - Internationalization NLP Engineer

Our mission is to make the input experience—using Keyboard, Dictation, Apple Pencil, etc.—more inclusive and accessible for everyone, regardless of what languages they use or what background they come from. In this role, you will:
- Write code for underlying linguistic engines and models of Input Methods for various languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.
- Apply NLP techniques and linguistic knowledge to data engineering and ML training to deliver the best input experience to Apple customers.
- Analyze existing issues in input engines, and seek scalable and innovative approaches for them.
- Collaborate with different teams—such as NLP, Localization, Siri Understanding, Privacy, etc.—to solve engineering challenges and linguistic challenges to ensure that the next generation of experiences can reach all Apple customers.
応募資格(必須経験など)
Strong programming ability in C++ and software design skills
Understanding of algorithms, data structures and coding standards
Familiar with unit testing, with a strong focus on high-quality software
Passion for language and for improving Apple’s products
Deep linguistic understanding of Chinese, Japanese, or Korean
Hands-on knowledge of NLP experience
(Optional) Familiarity with tokenizer libraries and Unicode
