Responsibilities
Own technical relationship with our customers in the manufacturing, automotive, retail, financial services, and healthcare and life sciences industries. Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
Share in-depth storage and database expertise to support the technical relationship with customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, migration planning, new application development architecture whiteboarding session.
Driving database and data analytics solutions consumption with technical win to solve customer’s pain point with database partners.
Express thought leadership for databases. Influence the scenario in the industry’s technical decision making.
Travel to customer sites, conferences, and other related events as needed.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with database performance tuning and with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, Aurora, PostgreSQL).
Experience with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/OLTP technology space including NoSQL.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or other technical field.
4 years of experience in the fields of database administration, data transfer/management, and database performance (e.g., MySQL).
Experience as a database administrator, technology consultant, technical architect, enterprise architect, technical sales engineer, or solutions architect.
Experience with data migration strategies, moving production systems in on-premise/data center environments, data model refactoring, or migration to cloud scenarios.
Experience with analytical databases (e.g., Hive, Presto, Redshift, BigQuery, Netezza, Teradata or NoSQL databases such as HBase, DynamoDB).
