Key Accountabilities
- Proactively help the team build “partnership” style relationships focusing on integration at all levels. Interact with various individuals at MUTB and the corporate clients to solve problems and build strong partnerships and uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of SWJ’s contractual obligations under the MUTB Private Label Agreement (“PLA”) to ensure SWJ and SCA delivers on their contractual and service level commitments. This includes ensuring internal stakeholders have a clear understanding on the contractual obligations to be met and taking an ownership role in managing internal stakeholders to assist in delivering obligations as required.
- Complete demonstrations, training sessions, user training sessions, and other requests from SWJ’s partners and their clients.
- Update and maintain any training processes and procedures used within user training sessions.
- Address various partner queries regarding their privately licensed Shareworks platform.
- Participation and support in new client onboarding and collaboration with internal stakeholders (including SPI, Client Service, Settlement and Reconciliation, Legal and Compliance and Relationship Management teams as required).
- Prepare, create, and communicate the upcoming project requirements and ensure that all workflow is prepared in advance.
- Project management of all upcoming client activities and initiatives (in collaboration with SPI, Client Service, Settlement and Reconciliation, Legal and Compliance and Relationship Management teams as required).
- Support the Head of RM APAC with weekly partnership meetings with MUTB, monthly strategy meetings and quarterly Relationship Committee meetings.
- Mentor junior colleagues with respect to technical platform and industry knowledge, client interaction, communication tactics and positioning strategies.
- Update and maintain processes and procedure documents relevant to SWJ.
- Conduct ongoing needs analysis to determine appropriate services, and service levels, to meet partnership requirements and communicate with internal stakeholders (including management, development teams and Relationship Management as required).
- Remain current with new industry developments in the Japanese market to interpret impact on client plans and service model.
- Always demonstrate a leading example across the Shareworks organisation of partner and client care, empathy, and a commitment to service excellence

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 7 years in an Account Management, Client Services, or Remuneration and Benefits role, preferably working in the equity or share plan industry, or financial services, remuneration or tax areas.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Economics or Finance.
- Previous experience with enterprise Software-as-a-service (SAAS) solutions and equity plan administration is an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Superior problem-solving skills and abilities.
- An ability to work independently, handle numerous assignments concurrently and consistently be a self-starter that excels at meeting and exceeding professional goals.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and works well without direction.
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills, and proven attention to detail.
- Fluency in both written and spoken Japanese and English is a must.
