About The Position:
You will be responsible for the project delivery On Time, On Budget, On Scope, On Quality (OTOBOSOQ):
・ Ensure the end-to-end responsibility for achieving the project’s objectives in line with the commitments made to the Business, while complying with the entity’s strategic priorities and the Sponsor’s expectations
• Steer the entire project and coordinate all the people involved and contributors
• Be the go-to contact person for the project
This role also covers BAU activities related to Demand Management, Capacity Management and Portfolio Management.
Main accountability:
・Ensure the end-to-end responsibility for achieving the project’s objectives in line with the commitments made to the Business, while complying with the entity’s strategic priorities and the Sponsor’s expectations
・Responsible for meeting project objectives in compliance with the allocated budget and deadlines, and the quality of deliverables
・Coordinate preliminary studies with the Business and Sponsor
・Ensure that the business need is properly defined and validated
・Ensure consistency of functional requirements with the business needs retained and the technological feasibility
・Ensure that the solution (particularly the data dimension) is compatible with all the requirements
・Ensure the solution is validated with all the stakeholders
・Prepare, consolidate and validate elements used to make estimations and prepare schedules during the entire project
・Guarantee the solution’s delivery, operability and release
・With all the stakeholders, identify and manage the risks that may emerge when the project is being implemented
・Identify the needs in terms of human resources and technical and functional skills
・Identify, depending on implementation capacity (technical and human resources), the project’s impacts on the requests’ strategic plan and enhance it where necessary
・Steer the entire project and coordinate all the people involved and contributors
・Steer and measure the project’s progress
・Make decisions regarding impacts on costs, quality and deadlines by integrating the business value created
・Guide and coordinate the project team
・Coordinate the relationship with all the stakeholders and guarantee their commitment during the entire project
・Plan, prepare and ensure the transition to the project governance bodies (architecture and investment committees)
・Guarantee the development and application of the test strategy for the entire project
・Integrate change management into the project activities
・Develop the deployment plan with all the stakeholders and guarantee that it is implemented
・Organize the transition of the project to the maintenance mode
・Assess the project and close it
・Be the go-to contact person for the project
・The primary contact, together with the project sponsor
・Responsible for communication with contributors and others, where necessary
応募資格(必須経験など)
Minimum Qualifications:
・Bachelor or Master Degree: University graduated, preferably in Business, Finance, IT or related disciplines
・PMP Certificate
・6+ experience in similar role
・Proven track record in delivery of large, complex projects in large, complex organizations
・Experienced with the Agile methodology
・Solid experience in managing stakeholders at multiple levels of organization and in managing external vendors
・Ability to conduct work in a positive and proactive manner
・Excellent creative problem solving and analytical skills
・Excellent written, presentation and oral skills
・Proactive, approachable, decisive, pragmatic and goal-oriented
・Ability to handle uncertainties and attention to details
・Strong commitment and charisma
・Knowledge of insurance industry is required
・Japanese: N1 or Business Level is a must
・English speaking is a must
Preferred Qualification:
・In-depth knowledge of the Project Management, business strategy and high-level technical knowledge.
・In-depth knowledge of insurance industry, products, sales and distribution channels, subscription and renewal processes
