Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) is a full-service security and investigative team that protects the assets, integrity and reputation of Citi and its clients.
CSIS Crisis Management is responsible for designing and maintaining Citi’s all-threats Crisis Management framework and providing strategies for businesses to use to protect staff and mitigate risk during a crisis event as well as complying with applicable legislation, regulations, and codes. The framework covers the complete crisis management lifecycle from Readiness to Response through to Recovery and Review and is activated during crisis events to provide notifications, escalation, and coordination of Citi corporate resources to help resolve emergencies.
CSIS Crisis Management is looking for an experienced professional to join regional Crisis Management function to add to the current Crisis Management specialists. This Crisis Management role is an individual contributor position reporting to the Regional Crisis Management Head
Role responsibilities include:
Manage day-to-day functions in support of regional crisis management activities, across multiple locations and jurisdictions in which Citi has a business presence/operation
Maintain the regional Crisis Management Plans and other required components in accordance with Citi’s Crisis Management Framework
Oversee, maintain, and coordinate operational processes performed by crisis management support teams
Support the crisis management team and crisis commander during crisis events, to ensure Citi's Crisis Management Framework is executed.
Liaison with CSIS’s Intelligence function, Business Continuity and business leaders as threats emerge
Ensure consistency of protocol responses and dissemination of critical decision-making information through adherence to the framework
Create and participate in response plans and training exercises to improve organizational response to events and emerging threats
Review Post-Crisis actions and evaluate performance and processes to determine how well the Crisis Management Plan was executed and update the methodology of the response plan as needed.

This role is an advanced position requiring proven experience in crisis management, including execution of a crisis management plan. If you have the following, we would like to talk to you:
Minimum of 10 years of experience, with demonstrable involvement in crisis management, preferably in the financial services sector
Industry recognized professional training/exercise certifications in Crisis Management and/or contingency planning would be an advantage
Ability to bring compassion and leadership to Crisis Management
Self-starter and resourceful individual, able to work effectively in a highly dynamic, complex, and stressful environment with the ability to brief executive leadership at any time
Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight
Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables as well as changing priorities concurrently
Have led and influenced people across an organization using sound judgment, successful execution of strategies; and with an understanding of how to operate effectively across diverse businesses/resources
Possess strong interpersonal skills and display an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in the organization
Able to provide liaison with local and international public safety and industry representatives
Effective strategic planning and execution abilities
Knowledge and understanding of regional risk environments along with the ability to effectively apply appropriate crisis response protocols to mitigate or react to those risks, as needed
Have technical expertise with crisis management tools
Must be flexible and be able to work traditional and non-traditional work hours as so determined by an event or circumstances
Education:
Bachelor’s degree, Masters’ degree preferred or equivalent experience
