Role Description
Deutsche Bank is looking for an associate to join its Corporate Coverage Japan team in Japan. As a Junior Coverage Banker, you will be responsible for supporting Coverage Bankers on key client relationships, producing accurate and timely analysis of clients, compiling competitor data, producing pitch book presentations, and supporting our clients.
The Junior Banker will develop a good understanding of the origination processes, product offerings and assist with the preparation of internal desk reports and pipeline information, working under the guidance of the Global coverage bankers and heads.

Role Responsibilities and Tasks :
Originate and grow business from existing clients and deepen the relationship across other products.
Advise clients, provide insights into the latest macroeconomic, geopolitical issue and regulatory trends in Asia/Japan impacting our clients and the industry they operate in.
Set-up strong momentum on client callings
Ensure that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with a client across different geographies and products are explored
Close coordination with global, regional and local country relationship bankers to ensure integrated and seamless coverage for our clients.
Liaise with global and local credit risk management teams for maintenance and setup of existing/ new credit facilities
Keep abreast of developments in the client business and the industry ecosystem, and manage risks within the portfolio
Own the Client Adoption, Client Life-cycle Management/Know Your Customer process and manage the credit risk of the client portfolio.
応募資格(必須経験など)
Experience/ Qualifications:
3 years+ of banking experience in managing corporate bank LLCs or MNCs and track record in being able to understand the strategic priorities of our clients and support the execution of complex deals.
Broad understanding of the corporate business environment, regulatory and market trends across Asia/Japan
Strong analytical skills capable of assimilating new information quickly and pro-actively relating them to the needs of the client base.
Knowledge of Capital Markets would be beneficial
Effective communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to connect and build strong relationships with others, with effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Good project management skills and ability to work autonomously.
Educated to degree level in a relevant financial discipline or with relevant industry experience
Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, word, excel) with ability to prepare impactful presentations for clients
Very strong and persuasive communication skills in English; Japanese language ability desirable
Good communication and influencing skills
