Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience working in a media account management role or a similar role within the advertising industry
Ability to speak and write in English and Japanese fluently
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in online ad sales, business-development, marketing, and/or consulting sales
Ability to deliver results and client services in a growing environment
Ability to quickly complete a large volume of work
Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills
Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and teamwork skills

As an Account Manager, you'll develop and manage relationships directly with the clients and agencies. You will grow existing businesses, optimize new businesses, and support your team with account and market knowledge, and enhance global engagement opportunities. You'll act as an advisor, consultant, and advocate for clients within Google.
Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.
Responsibilities
Act as a trusted business partner for client marketing solutions.
Provide excellent customer service to Google's advertisers, identify, and solve client problems creatively.
Learn and work with Google's ongoing development of advertiser products to optimize client campaign results.
Leverage resources, including optimization, marketing, and technical support. Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment.
Build relationships with customers and agencies and educate them on new product features.
