About the Role

We are looking to grow our Specialized Electronic Trading Infrastructure Team with a cross-discipline Senior Linux System Administrator. The candidate will work with our partners across technology to manage, grow and transform our existing heterogenous compute infrastructure across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

§ You will be directly supporting, managing, troubleshooting, and pushing forward in an enterprise scale Linux server plant in various global environments.

§ You will develop and manage various tools to script away repetitive tasks and reporting.

§ You will be involved in integration, certification, and maintenance of numerous products such as with server hardware, Linux, and configuration management systems.

§ You will be a part of a global (follow the sun) on-call rotation for issues.

§ You will write and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and procedures.

§ You will have experience with change management and problem management practices.

§ You are a self-starter, able to act like an owner, prioritize requests, collaborate with others, and manage ambiguity.

§ You enjoy working with people in a very collaborative space


応募資格(必須経験など)

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

§ Expertise with Linux - preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

§ Expertise with server hardware and cabling from various vendors.

§ Expertise with configuration management systems Ansible, SaltStack, etc.

§ Proficient in programming in various languages Python, Perl, BASH, etc.

§ Knowledge with networking systems Router, Switches, Firewalls, etc.

§ Knowledge with networking services and protocols TCP/UDP, DNS/DHCP/NTP, etc.

§ Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.

§ Ability to manage customers, colleagues, and management at various levels.

§ Ability to analysis, troubleshoot and manage issues and incidents in a highly visible fast paced environment.

§ Successful track record of driving and collaborating on time-to-market projects and tasks.

§ Business or native level English.

Skills Desired

§ Experience with Linux kernel and application debugging with crash/core dumps/etc, and server performance tuning and low-level debugging.

§ Experience with incident and data platform solutions ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Splunk etc.

§ Experience with observability and monitoring tools Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.

§ Experience with technologies such as Linux kernel by-passing and FPGA.

§ Experience working on shared code bases using best practices in source control, CI, release management, and change control.

§ Knowledge of low-latency and/or financial trading systems.
