About the business division:

The Corporate Bank is a market leader in risk management for FX and Rates, cash management, lending, trade finance, trust and agency services as well as securities services.

Products

Cash Management: Delivers a wide range of payment and cash management related products to corporates and non-bank financial institutions.

Trade Finance & Lending: Covers the full range of corporate lending solutions and provides solutions related to imports, exports or domestic trade transactions.

Trust & Agency Services: Delivers a wide range of Agency and Fiduciary services to Capital Markets instruments and provides a full range of Depositary Bank services to global issuers, investors and brokers.

Coverage: Our Coverage team manages the Corporate Bank’s key client relationships across the full suite of Corporate and Investment Bank products.

Division specifics about the Analyst role:

Area of responsibility and support:

The candidate will be performing function with RTM (Relationship Transaction Management). RTM embraces various functions such as Client Coverage, and Implementation and Services for our core products (Cash Management, Trade Finance & lending and Trust and Agency Services).
For this role, you will primarily be focusing on delivering day-to-day service to our valued customers. Our customers mostly comprise of Multi National Companies, and you will be exposed to various types of clients across industries.
You will be the first point of contact for Clients, and in case of any inquiries/issues, it is imperative that you closely co-work with Coverage and various stakeholders to satisfy clients’ needs.
We have dedicated NAH (North Asia Hub) team in Shanghai, where we centralize standardized service such as internet banking set up, etc. You will be required to closely align with the NAH team and to provide guidance where necessary.
We also value first hand feedbacks from clients, so Service team would make periodic visits to our Key clients, to further enhance our service quality.
You will be the point of contact from regional/global Coverage for providing them with client profile data, such as KYC status, business/product nature for their periodic client review, revenue growth opportunities and pitching.

Fluency in both Japanese and English language (Business Level)
