Team / division overview
Our Client Coverage Division in DWS we offer total solutions to fulfil our clients’ needs. With the regional focus in Japan, we observe a potential consistent growth for Japan and we would like to welcome those who have passion and market intelligence to grow the business together with the team for a sustainable success in the future.
The primary responsibility of the Retail Sales is to identify opportunities and develop relationships with Distributors and Domestic Asset Manager and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels. We would like to hire high self-motivated person with retail sales experience, while we aim not only to reinform the team, so need to be work for as one team.
Also generate detailed client / product knowledge, market knowledge and cultivate client relationships in order to generate sales opportunities.
Your responsibilities
Build/maintain long term client relationship and manage client assets to achieve sales of products/services, covering 1-2 Top tier financial groups as a lead account manager.
Develop and maintain multiple client relationships across client organizations, such as Product, Fund Promotion and Senior Management relationships for Distributors and Fund Wrap business, as well as Product, Sales, Investment and Senior Management relationships for Domestic Asset Managers.
Initiation and follows up on new business opportunities.
Strong motivation to overcome challenges with innovative mindset.
Strong teamwork mentality, with “Win as a one team” spirit
Conduct investor seminars and study sessions
Leading complicated client negotiations/discussions, such as product structuring, fees, and small fund terminations.
Accurately and successfully represent DWS including legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly. Also Act according to the DWS Japan Client centric policy
応募資格(必須経験など)
We are looking for
Educated to BA degree level or above with at least 7-10 years minimum relevant experience in Investment/Asset Management or Financial Services is preferred.
Experience with proven ability to maintain/develop client relationship, preferably across asset classes
Strong product knowledge capable to explain and discuss sophisticated investment strategies and complex investment attitude
Able to prioritize the key initiative across a broad range of opportunities and relationships
Excellent relationship management skills and experience, along with a high standard of public speaking and presentation experience
Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills – be able to build the trust and confidence of clients
PC skills (EXCEL, POWER POINT, WORD, BLOOMBERG etc), not just creating materials, but also need to be double check for our team member’s materials.
JSDA Level I is a must, but Company will support pre/after joining.
Native in Japanese (written, reading and speaking) and a Business professional English level (written, reading and speaking)
