JPMorgan Asset Management (Japan) Ltd. ("JPMAM") provides investment management products and services across investment funds and institutional businesses worldwide. We offer the full spectrum of investment strategies - from equity, fixed income, cash management, currency and asset allocation to alternative asset classes such as private equity and hedge funds.
Japan Service Delivery team functions as a locally designated team of the wider Asia Pacific team belonging to the Operations division. The team is critical in carrying out day to day first-class services to clients for both investment trust funds and institutional business. One of the key responsibilities of the team is to perform effective oversight on the outsourcing vendors performing accounting and valuation for the funds/accounts, guiding the vendors with value-adding expertise. Under the ever-changing market conditions, industry trends and client demands, the team is constantly evolving by driving changes and defining solutions.
Job Responsibilities
This role will be engaged in a range of activities mainly around JPMAM investment funds, potentially expanding to institutional business as well
In addition to daily responsibilities to deliver our products, there is strong focus on enhancing existing processes and implementing new solutions
Coordination across internal and external stakeholders (including overseas teams) for various initiatives and projects
A successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate great leadership as a potential manager for leading the team
Leadership is expected especially in the area of structural reviews and process improvements for enhanced operational effectiveness

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
At least 5-7 years of solid experience in the finance industry, preferably with an international asset management firm
Native level of Japanese and advanced business to native level of English required, both verbal and written
Outstanding business acumen, result-oriented attitude with strong sense of conduct and discipline
Flexible and forward-looking mindset in driving changes
Excellent inter-personal skills, being able to foster complex conversations with all levels of people
Ability to multi-task and manage priorities under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent team worker who can cultivate an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

Experience of strategic planning and execution
Experience with facing Japanese regulators
