The Analyst will support building relationships and maintain a high level of contact with distributors such as large financial institutions and global private banks as well as asset management companies in Japan, with the goal of accelerating the adoption of Blackstone investment solutions. The role will also be the subject matter expert across one of the most diverse sets of alternative investment offerings in the industry by having significant interface with members of the firm’s global PWS group.
In addition to gaining substantial technical knowledge on alternative investments, the role will also develop expertise across other important aspects including legal documentations, product development, operations, marketing, strategic planning and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a high-level of client service by responding to inbound inquiries and working with colleagues across Blackstone and PWS (including investments, legal/compliance department, finance, and other groups within the firm) to resolve clients’ issues as an internal sales.
Provide strong support to the full fundraising cycle end-to-end by working closely with global and local colleagues across different functions, from client onboarding, product launches and post-launch services.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate Blackstone’s sophisticated products. (fund objectives, terms, exposures, characteristics, positioning, performance, etc.)

Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate must have:
Bachelor’s degree required
Relevant Local Financial Product Sales Licenses (if not, need to obtain after joining organization)
Up to 5 years of professional working experiences in financial services industry (asset management, wealth management or alternatives industry preferred, but not mandatory)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
Demonstrate passion for capital markets, alternative investments, and retail and high-net worth businesses in Japan
Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
