You may begin to feel stressed out simply by hearing the term “college process,” but don’t worry. The journey of being accepted to your dream school becomes a bit less formidable once it is broken down into simpler steps. I’m certainly not proposing that you should begin studying for the SAT in kindergarten during nap time, but, generally speaking, the earlier you begin to conquer the daunting process, the better! Careful planning mixed with assiduous dedication forms a perfect recipe for a successful college process - here’s a timeline to make sure that you’re on track! By following these steps, I eventually achieved my dream of getting into the University of Pennsylvania.

One thing that I contribute to the success of my college application season is my family and my best friend. I stayed up doing applications for months every night until almost 1AM each day after school and after other activities, perfecting essays and working on resumes and statements.

My essay to Harvard was very personal and talked about the struggle my mother and I had adjusting to the death of my father. He died when I was 13 and his death left my mom and me in pretty bad shape.

The application process for applying to the Johns Hopkins University and other colleges involved many things.

Standardized testing has always been an obstacle and challenge for current high school students applying to college. I have taken 14 Advanced Placement(AP) tests and scored a perfect score on my ACT test. In retrospect, I have gained valuable insight in the methods of preparing for these types of exams.
